Core Facility Training Policy
The purpose of core facility training is to equip users with the knowledge and skills necessary to independently perform experiments using the facility’s instruments. We offer training primarily on the standard samples available in our cleanroom. Core staff will provide instruction, guidance, troubleshooting, and demonstrations to ensure users gain proficiency.
User Responsibilities:
Users are responsible for preparing and handling their own samples during for their research and project.
Core staff will not perform experiments, collect data, or complete research on behalf of users.
Collaborative Work:
If additional assistance is needed, such as help with preparing or fabricating your sample or device, this can be arranged as a formal collaboration in accordance with academic standards.
In such cases, cleanroom staff must be recognized for their contributions, including authorship in any resulting publications.
This policy ensures fair use of core resources, maintains the integrity of user training, and clearly defines expectations for collaborative work.
