Summary of key points for SCIF users - Updated 7/13/21:
Occupancy:
-There is currently no occupancy limit in the SCIF
Instrument usage:
-SCIF staff will be only on site as necessary, but available by phone. Contact David at (209) 285-5726 - mobile.
-During business hours, sort setup will be performed with greater than 24hr advanced booking.
-LSR and ZE5 startup and shutdown will continue to be the user responsibility.
-The cytometry analysis station in the office space is now available for both in-person and remote usage. iLab reservations must still be made for workstation usage.
PPE and hygiene:
-All users must bring their own face coverings and follow current university face covering policy.
-Users must bring their own lab coats.
-Gloves will be available in the SCIF.
-Hand sanitizer is available at the main entrance to the SCIF.
Cleaning/Disinfection
-70% Ethanol spray bottles are present at each workstation.
-Before and after any usage, wipe down keyboard, mouse, and any instrument touch surfaces with paper towels dampened with 70% Ethanol.
