Research Facility Tours

As part of Research Week, many of our Core Laboratories and Research Facilities will open their doors to visitors. We encourage all students, faculty, staff, and the general public to visit us and learn about the exciting research taking place at UC Merced!

9AM-12PM: Merced Vernal Pools and Grassland Reserve. 90 minute tour departing at 9AM and 10:30AM. RSVP is required. Please click here to RSVP.

1PM-3PM: 9 different Research Facilities - Tours will depart every 20 minutes or 40 minutes, depending on tour length, starting at 1PM from tables set up near the canal bridge along Engineering Walk (see map below). All afternoon tours will begin from this central meeting location. Sign-up for tours begins at 11AM and they will fill on a first-come basis. If you have a group of 5 or more, please contact David Gravano for group reservations at dgravano@ucmerced.edu.

Public Parking in available the Bellevue Lot

Hourly Parking Permits - Pay By License Plate

Hourly permits are available for temporary parking in any non-specially marked space in Green Zone in Bellevue Lot. These are virtual permits that can be purchased at pay stations located within the lot. The pay stations accept VISA, MasterCard, AMEX and Discover cards only. All transactions are final and no refunds will be issued. Customers with cash/check may purchase hourly permits at the TAPS office. Please make checks payable to UC Regents.
